Sentry named 2014 KLAS Category Leader for 340B
Sentry Data Systems, Inc. is pleased to announce that our Sentinel product has earned the distinction of 2014 KLAS Category Leader for 340B Management Systems in the 2014 Best in KLAS Software & Services report. The report ranks healthcare vendors and their solutions by the professionals who use them—healthcare providers. This year marks the first year in which 340B solution vendors were ranked as part of the annual Best in KLAS report.
Last year’s inaugural KLAS Performance Report titled “340B Management Systems: Relieving the Audit Pressure,” published in March 2014, was KLAS’s first look at 340B solution providers.1 Among the findings of the Performance Report: 94% of Sentry customers stated that they were confident their product had sufficiently prepared them for an audit and 100% of Sentry customers considered Sentry part of their long-term plans. In addition, Sentry ranked #1 in overall product quality and ranked or tied for #1 in eleven additional categories:
- Ease of use
- Product response time
- Supports integration goals
- Executive involvement
- Recommend to a peer/friend
- Ranked client’s best vendor
- NDC cross-reference issues
- Internal reporting/analytics
- Working with contract pharmacies
- Response time to legislative changes
- Overall satisfaction (tied for #1)
“We’ve been informally known as the leading 340B solution provider for years, and the KLAS Category Leader distinction affirms our standing in the industry,” says Travis Leonardi, Sentry’s CEO and Founder. “It has always been our goal for customers to be confident in Sentry’s ability to provide technology that helps them execute on their mission, manage their 340B program and prepare for HRSA audits. This award underscores the confidence our customers have in us as the number one 340B partner.”
Sentry’s Sentinel product is designed for hospital pharmacy procurement and 340B compliance, while our Sentrex product helps manage contract pharmacy programs. Both solutions identify eligible 340B dispensations, provide a complete audit trail, and include self-auditing tools and preconfigured reports to help ensure that an organization’s 340B program is operating as expected.
More than 5,200 hospitals, clinics, integrated delivery networks (IDNs) and pharmacies across the country rely on Sentry’s integrated platform for their analytics, procurement, drug utilization and compliance solutions. Since 2003, Sentry’s solutions have processed more than 5 billion dispensations on more than 650 million claims and currently provide decision support for more than 62 million patients. To date, we have helped hospitals, hospital systems and IDNs realize more than $2 billion in savings to help them better meet their mission and continue serving their communities.
“Sentry customers are some of the most satisfied in the industry, and we thank them for their ongoing support,” says Leonardi.
