Salesforce Administrator

Position summary:

The Salesforce Administrator will be responsible for design/architecture; data cleansing, merging, de-duplication, streamlining; complex customization and reporting; process optimization and automation. Other responsibilities include end-user training to both existing and new users; consulting with end-users to analyze and understand user needs, objectives, desired features, and input and output requirements. This role requires strong data analysis skills and the ability to determine key metrics, analyze results, gain insights, trending, and make recommendations based on those results.

Position description:

  • Responsible for database administration of Salesforce and integrated applications
  • Standardize organization-wide Salesforce reports and dashboards to support business operations
  • Systematize, clean, and align existing data
  • Manage mass imports and exports
  • Migrate and integrate data to Salesforce from legacy systems
  • Develop and provide end-user training for new and existing users
  • Recommend, implement, test and deploy Apex classes and triggers
  • Automate and improve data reporting, quality, and governance while providing expertise in effective daily, weekly and monthly reports and dashboards
  • Audit system usability; guide and instruct users, at all levels, about Salesforce best practices
  • Other responsibilities as defined

Qualifications / requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration / finance / science or equivalent combination of related experience
  • 4+ years of experience administering
  • Certified Salesforce Administrator
  • Experience with Salesforce data-manipulation tools including DemandTools (CRMFusion) and Apex Data Loader (Salesforce)
  • Experience with implementing and managing Customer Communities
  • Administrative experience with project management and accounting applications a plus
  • High level of computer proficiency required for Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). PC, printers, computerized voice & e-mail systems
  • Self-motivated, driven, flexible and adaptable
  • Team player with an ability to balance business priorities, to think proactively, and a desire to learn new technologies
  • Problem-solving and analytical abilities with strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
