Product Executive

Position summary

The Product Executive will serve as a subject matter expert (SME) in 340B and Sentry Data Systems products. This role provides support for product solutions, is responsible for performing the analysis, documentation, and delivery of unique client requests and driving customer engagement within the Sentry platform.

Position description

  • Domain expert on Sentry’s software platform
  • Support current and planned systems as they relate to the integration and management of patient data for supporting account management teams
  • Evaluate business processes, conduct research to help determine root causes, anticipate requirements, uncover areas for improvement and develop and implement solutions which improve Sentry DS customers quality and/or profitability
  • Identify, analyze and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
  • Acquire and abstract primary or secondary data from existing internal or external data sources
  • In collaboration with others, develop and implement data collection systems and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and data quality
  • Execute on functional and analytic assessment and project requirements:
    • Conduct quantitative and qualitative interviews
    • Perform departmental shadowing and observations
    • Perform process and data analysis
  • Provide guidance for establishing process, staffing and system improvements relative to the client’s 340B program
  • Knowledgeable and up-to-date on issues within the industry, changing regulation and evolving technology
  • Participation in development of proactive/automated monitoring tools to ensure continued client program success and establish ability for Sentry to recognize and identify data issues prior to negative client impact
  • Leverage existing knowledge to recommend value, add technical improvements within and external to Sentry applications
  • Coordinate with applicable parties related to performance, reprocessing efforts, special projects, etc.
  • Provide expertise, consultation, optimization and remediation efforts sent to PMO to ensure that outcomes meet expectations
  • Perform user acceptance testing
  • Prioritize initiatives based on business needs and requirements while managing competing resources and priorities
  • In collaboration with others, interpret data and develop recommendations based on findings
  • Develop graphs, reports and presentations of project results
  • Perform basic statistical analyses for projects and reports
  • Generate routine and ad hoc reports
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications / requirements

  • Bachelor’s in business, economics, accounting, information management, healthcare information, computing, mathematics, statistics or equivalent combination of related experience
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare/hospital environment and 340B program
  • 340B Apexus Certified Expert certification preferred, or able to complete within one year of hire
  • Minimum of one year of experience in health-related area or must possess transferable skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to understand and generate complex process flows for assigned projects
  • Possess strong Excel skills
  • Aptitude for rapidly acquiring process improvement and subject matter expertise
  • Basic understanding of healthcare supply chain, clinical operations and revenue cycle preferred
  • Fast learner, able to understand new products/features and business objectives swiftly
  • Ability to establish and maintain professional working relationships with all levels of staff, clients and the public
  • Adept at building productive cross-departmental relationships
  • Ability to work with minimal daily supervision
  • Willingness to be part of a team-unit and cooperate in the accomplishment of departmental goals and objective
  • This position requires up to 25% travel, outside the local area and overnight
