Sentry Data Systems, Inc., a leader in 340B compliance and advanced healthcare analytics solutions, announced today the addition of John P. Ceraolo to the company’s executive leadership team as Chief Information Security Officer (CISO).
Ceraolo, an internationally recognized author and speaker on multiple security topics including social engineering, security services and awareness, brings more than 20 years of experience in the information security industry. He most recently held the position of CSO for 3Cinteractive, a leading mobile technology company where he directed the organization’s enterprise risk management, business continuity and information security initiatives.

Ceraolo will be responsible for day-to-day execution of Sentry’s information security processes and will ensure ongoing adoption of security best practices.
Prior to 3Cinteractive, Ceraolo held positions with several organizations including Arise Virtual Solutions, JM Family, Citrix Systems, Siemens and VNU Publishing. As an expert in audit and compliance assessments, Ceraolo has also led several organizations in SOX compliance, PCI-DSS certification, SAS70 auditing and HIPAA compliance.
Ceraolo earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida and a master’s degree in Information Assurance from Norwich University. He holds several security certifications such as CISM, CISA and CISSP, and has taught CISM certification aspirants for ISACA. Ceraolo is also a member of ISACA, ISSA and ISC2, and sits on the board of Crime Stoppers.
