Kin’s Daughters Medical Center (KDMC) was interested in implementing the 340B program but implementation was more than our existing staff could manage. In order to facilitate the process, KDMC contracted with Sentry Data Systems. Sentry successfully guided us through the setup process, helped tailor the system to the medical center’s needs and accomplished the task without adding FTEs.
KDMC uses both the Sentinel and Sentrex programs and have had success with both. The Reporting functionality as well as the ordering process is useful and easy to learn. As the Director of Pharmacy, this has proven to be a valuable resource for compliance questions and I also receive frequent 340B drup updates. Occasionally we have had technical issues; however, Sentry customer service staff have responded quickly and provided frequent updates. Sentry has been a valuable partner in the 340B process.
